Aufgaben
Optimize direct / indirect procurement savings: Focusing mainly
on material expenses (primarily Electronic Manu facturing Services –
EMS, as well as select components); indirect procurement spend
mainly driven by Marketing, Office Costs, Office Equipment, etc. with
significant potential across all categories; Perform detailed assessment
per cost category of savings potential, levers to utilize and implemen-
tation timeline.
Implementing best practices: Encompasses strategic sourcing, sup-
plier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance man-
agement; improvement of bundling endeavours, best country selec-
tion, process optimization, standardization, etc.
Optimization and Risk Mitigation: You will also evaluate and iden-
tify opportunities for supply chain optimization and risk mitigation, en-
suring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.
Innovation: Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional
teams to drive innovation in the supply chain, exploring new technolo-
gies and sustainable procurement practices.
Anforderungen
Relevant Procurement Experience: Well-rounded and experienced
procurement professional with >10 years of experience and with an in-
depth understanding of the role both at strategic and operational lev-
els.
Strategic mindset: Formulates a clear vision, strategy, and plan for
procurement at AVM going forward.
Best-in-Class Expertise: Successful track record of successfully de-
fining and implementing leading-edge, pragmatic, and fact-based pro-
curement strategies in complex environments in technological organi-
zations.
Transformation: Proven experience in leading the transformation of
the procurement function into a new procurement-operating model;
experience gained in a PE-backed environment is a great plus.
Driver of change: Change management-oriented and energized by a
change challenge while having the tenacity and perseverance to drive
change through and overcome obstacles, using an optimal mix of bot-
tom-up and top-down approaches to achieve the results.
Supplier Management: Extensive experience in managing complex
supplier relationships; ability to oversee an effective supplier manage-
ment program; excellent negotiation experience and the capability to
effectively represent the company’s interest in interactions with sup-
pliers and third parties at the highest level.
Interpersonal skillset: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder man-
agement skills and the ability to maneuver among and collaborate with
all parts of the organization; hands-on mentality and pragmatic work-
ing style, agile and dynamic; strong and fast decision taker.
